Bareboat charter means you operate and take responsibility for your assigned boat; you provide the food and clean the boat upon completion of your charter.

Each cruise is unique. Distance traveled, sights, and types of weather and water vary. Choose whichever best suits you and have a great time!

The Erie Canal segments are usually sold-out months in advance, book early to reserve your preferred dates.

Experience is helpful, but not required. Your personalized on-the-water instruction familiarizes you with the boat, its equipment and canal operations.

 No license is required to operate your rental boat.

You are free to set your own pace and schedule. Or, we can provide a cruising itinerary, including restaurants, shopping and shore-side activities to help you.

Your rental boat can be easily handled by two able-bodied people.

ONLY ECCL offers air conditioning, TV/DVD, microwave, propane-heated cabins, gas stoves, extra large showers, full size beds, and so many routes from which to choose.

Local area attraction information, navigation aids, and all charts are on board for your use.

Two bicycles are included, more are available at a small charge.

Your personal check is good with us.

Two couples are most comfortable, but up to six people can have great fun and be comfortable too.
